Short Pastry

Butter (50 g melted)
Olive oil (60 ml)
Water (60 ml luke warm)
Salt (1 tsp)
Flour (250g plain)

Place into food processor.
Mix until it starts to come away from the sides of the mixer.
Form into a smooth ball.
Wrap in cling film.
Leave to rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes.


This is a very rich short pastry which breaks up easily whilst you are handling it. So be prepared to patch your work.
