Water (150ml lukewarm)
Sugar (1 tsp soft dark brown)
Yeast (1½ tsp dried)

Place in jug & stir.
Leave in warm place for 20 minutes to ferment.

Flour (250g Strong)

Sift into food processor.

Salt (1 tsp)
Olive oil (2 tbp)
Lard (1 tbp)

Add to food processor & process for a few moments.

 

Pour yeast mixture into food processor.
Process until a single ball of dough is created.
Kneed for at least 10 minutes.
Form into a smooth ball.
Place in bowl & cover with a damp cloth.
Leave to rise in warm place for at least 1 hour.
