Pastry For Deep Frying

Flour (225 g plain)

Sift into food processor.

Salt (1 tsp)
Olive oil (2 tbp)

Add and mix.

Water (5 tbp lukewarm)

Add gradually & process until a ball is created.
Kneed for at least 10 minutes.
Form into a smooth ball.
Place in bowl & cover with a damp cloth.
Leave to rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes.


This pastry can be rolled very thinly. Can be frozen until wanted.
